The following sales terms are effective as of September 30, 2013, and may be updated or modified at any time, without prior notice, by Galileo Engineering Srl. Any new conditions will be effective upon their publication on the website.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS OF SALE

The contract between Galileo Engineering Srl and the Customer is to be considered concluded with the acceptance, even if only partial, of the order by Galileo Engineering Srl. By placing an order, the Customer declares to fully accept the general sales and payment conditions as set forth below.

In accordance with Legislative Decree 185/1999 regarding distance selling, if the Customer is a consumer, defined as a natural person who purchases goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, they are required, at the end of each purchase on Galileo Engineering Srl's sales website shop.slot.it, to carefully read, print, or otherwise save these general sales and payment conditions.

2. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

The Customer can purchase only those products whose availability in the Galileo Engineering Srl electronic catalog is indicated as 'Available'.

In the event that an online order exceeds the quantity available for a specific item, Galileo Engineering Srl will accept the purchase for the quantity available in its virtual warehouse. Despite the fact that product availability is updated daily, there may be instances of multiple concurrent orders that prevent an immediate adjustment of availability. In such cases, and in any other cases where it is not possible to fulfill the order, the Customer will be promptly contacted.

In the case of products not available at a given time, the Customer can request to be informed via email when they become available again. Such a request by the Customer does not impose any obligation on Galileo Engineering Srl; orders will still be processed based on their receipt times.

 

3. PURCHASE TERMS AND SALES PRICES

All the selling prices of the products displayed on the Galileo Engineering Srl sales website shop.slot.it constitute a public offer as per Article 1336 of the Civil Code and are inclusive of VAT and any other taxes and duties.

Technical information about the products and related images may not be a perfect representation of the products.

At the conclusion of the purchasing process, Galileo Engineering Srl will confirm the receipt of the order sent by the Customer via email, providing the Order Reference, which should be used in any further communication with Galileo Engineering Srl.

 

4. SHIPPING TERMS, TIMES, AND COSTS

Italy: Delivery costs are the responsibility of the Customer and amount to 9.76 Euros, as displayed at the time of purchase. Other Countries: The transport cost is displayed at the time of payment, and it is not dependent on the volume or weight of the shipped goods but solely on the destination country. No responsibility can be attributed in the case of delays in order processing or delivery due to force majeure. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Any damages or discrepancies in the type or number of packages must be promptly reported by the Customer to the courier making the delivery. The Customer is also required to check the integrity of the packaging and related sealing materials. Once the courier's document is signed, the Customer cannot raise any objections regarding the external characteristics of the delivered items.

While acknowledging that the choice of the courier is at the sole discretion of Galileo Engineering Srl, in the event of delivery delays or any detected issues, the Customer is encouraged to promptly inform us.

 

5. PAYMENT METHODS

Through:

Credit Card - PayPal: We accept credit card payments exclusively through the PayPal system. This is because we believe it is the best in the world in terms of quality, service, and data security. You can use PayPal whether you have an account linked to it or simply by entering your credit card details without the need for registration.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Italian legislative Decree 206/2005, concerning consumer protection in distance contracts, establishes the right of withdrawal in Article 64. This right allows the Consumer, defined as a natural person who purchases goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, to withdraw from the purchase unconditionally, meaning without the need to provide any explanation and without any penalty.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify Galileo Engineering Srl, specifying the order reference, description, and quantity of the products in the case of a partial withdrawal, as well as their bank details for the refund. At this point, Galileo Engineering Srl will communicate the return instructions for the goods, which will be the complete responsibility of the Customer until confirmation of receipt. The notification of withdrawal must be made within 14 working days from the date of receiving the goods, either by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to the owner of Galileo Engineering Srl, or via certified PEC email to: galileo@pec.slot.it

The shipment and its associated cost are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error. For example, not because you changed your mind but because we sent you the wrong product, in which case the shipping will be at our expense.

Once the goods are received and the integrity of the returned product is verified, we will process the refund via bank transfer within 14 days.

The right of withdrawal is forfeited if the essential condition of the integrity of the item is lacking, such as the absence of the outer packaging and/or the original inner packaging, or the absence of integral elements of the product.

7. APPLICABLE LAW

The online sales contract between the Customer and Galileo Engineering Srl is to be considered concluded in Italy, and consequently, the resolution of any civil and criminal disputes is subject to the current Italian legislation. In the case of a consumer user, the competent court will be the court of residence or domicile of the consumer, if located in Italy. For any other dispute, the competent court will be the Court of Reggio Emilia.
